rebuilding my 700R4 soon, which kit should I use?

yuo also need the teflon ring installer, if you have a 4l60e you also need one for the pump.

Aerocoupes had 2004R's, so to clarify, is that price for a 700R4 that was swapped in, or the 2004R that was stock?
 
I've had 700r4's in plenty of my beaters... I like them. I had one in a truck with 265,000 original miles! still went strong. front seal leaked BAD, and it got low plenty of times. I beat the daylights out of it. Sold the truck with 300,000 on it and still see it around now and then. (new owner actaully pulled the trans and fixed the pump seal.) Now I have a TCI 700r4 (maximizer) and wouldnt own any other tranny! This thing Rocks! It had no problem barking the 35's on my Suburban when shifting into second, with my foot through the floorboard, with a 400hp 454. So I guess what I'm saying is go TCI in my opinion.
