It's about time to rebuild my rear Radflo shocks for the Xterra. They aren't leaking or damaged, they're just not dampening as good as they did 50k miles ago when I installed them.

I'm figuring new seals and an oil change should freshen them back up. Radflo wants me to send them in but I think I should be able to reseal them myself. They will sell me the seals but they don't seem to want to give me any advice on working on them.

I was hoping some of you would have some tips and tricks for me before I dive into this.

These guys have all of the kits and tools. They give tech support to a small extent. I have not done radflo shocks, so not sure on specialty tools.

Shocks are super simple. There are some pretty good how to videos on YouTube showing how to service King or Fox shocks.
I would imagine that Radflo shocks are basically the same as far as service goes.

I was scared at first but it really isn't that bad. Research and spend the money on tools. The worst part is the regulator and bottle.

Just lay it out on a rag as you pull it apart.

Thanks guys!

What all tools do you think I would need?
