rebuilding

i fried my trans last weekend and have been looking for rebuild kits... i found this one... what do you guys think? anyone know of a better place to get a rebuild kit? anyone have any experience with these guys or anyone else?

Joppa Automatic Transmission should be able to get you anything you need.

Nothing really special in that kit, it looks good, but I think you could do better on price, plus they could probably give you advice that you may not be able to get over the internet.

Price seems kinda high to me. A standard rebuild kit here is about 150, shift kit with a new pump adding about 200. any local trans shop can sell you rebuild kits. Just make sure you replace the input/reverse basket with a HD one.... common failure item in 700r4. The standard ones are only good for about 50k miles.
