Well its been a while since I have posted any progress on my truck. I wanted to start a little build up thread for some of my recent mods, so here goes.

It all started with my broken transfer case. While it was down I decided it was a perfect time to us the WMS doubler kit I had sitting around since the sale. I looked around for some cases for quite awhile and no luck. So I called Jordan and Kyle at NWF and ordered a rebuilt 205 with 32 spline outputs, and a 203 gear box, with some bling PTO covers. NWF was a great company to work with, great products and customer service :thumb:

I also ordered a triple stick setup from ORD, which is a nice piece of work. I ended up having to modify the center shifter slighty because of the WMS doubler.

While all of this was going on I decided to put on the ORD highsteer and add a Rocklogic hydro assist kit as well. I did post about the assist setup so not much to mention there.

From here I also had to ditch my broken seat in favor of a full cage, PRP seats, new 15" wheel, and some 5 point harnesses.

More to follow.... doubler crossmember, tranny work, drivetrain install, cut and rotate spring perches, HAD shafted and e-brake, traction bar setup.

Plenty of dash work coming in the summer too!

If anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions, let me have it. More pics available if people want different angles.

I order my WMS doubler kit with a 2" up rotation which worked well, I had to cut a hole in the floor under neath the passenger seat. I also didn't mention the bling Shifter knobs I got from WFO concepts, great price, wish I would have had the letters anodized though.

I also ordered a 203-th350 adapter off of Ebay. Since the new adapter was about 2.5" shorter than the 208-350 adapter I had to pull my tranny and take it to the shop to get a shorter output shaft installed:doah: what a pain in the ass. Anyways I yanked it out and found a good shop and had him install a new shiftkit as well. I also ordered a new modulator and kickdown cable, and tranny cooler from summit.

When I finally got everthing lined up and installed I built a doubler crossmember.

SWEET!!

HAHA I dont know what it is about cats and back seats but my cat sleeps in the same spot. Guess its comfortable:confused:

I am positive. I was going to cut it out and weld a flange with a few fasteners to it, but I started to worry about hurting the integrity of the floorpan as a whole. I am not sure if they put a few extra bends or anything like that on the ones that are removeable.

good looking rig and cool parts.

As far as the trans hump goes... all should be removable. Older K5s have bolts to hold them on... later ones just use body panel adhesives. Heat gun should weaken the stuff enough that you can get it to come off.

More pics coming

As some of you may have notice the rear portion of the cage sits a little low, this is because I made it to fit with the soft top over it. I also made the cage removeable, it's two portions. The lower front seat section is one piece and the whole top and rear portion is a seperate piece.

Here is a few more

The rear seat will remain in place until I move back to Tahoe. Soon it will be replaced with 2 more PRP seats, then I will finish the rear portion of the cage. I still need to mount my spare tire, highlift and tool boxes in the rear as well.
