Don't know the sizes offhand, but be sure to go with grade 8 stuff.

1/2" grade 8's are all you need, most take 6 bolts,3 on each side..

I just finished "adapting" a 88-up style Reese reciever to my '82 K2500--had to use channel iron to "widen" the frame rails so it would have something to bolt too--my trucks frame was 32" wide outside to outside, and the holes for the hitch were more lijke 30" on center...so it can be used, but its not a bolt on!..I dont know if the later bumpers would fit,I'd tend to think NO though, seeing the frames are wider on later trucks...

I've seen newer style bumpers on these model trucks, and even owned one with a newer style bumper. It had a "GM" stamp on the top step pad.

The guy with the hitch was literally 2 minutes from my house, so I went and tried it. And confirmed it doesn't work.

Hey guys I replaced my current bumper for a stock bumper and regular receiver hitch. Its the normal receiver that bolts to the frame. To install this do I need to take the bed off? or lift it up or something?

Nope it should just bolt up. I would use the largest bolt diameter that will go through the hole.
