Sorry for the newb first post, but I'm the proud owner of and 86 K5 Blazer with a four wheel bolt on popup camper. I’ve owned it for two winters and use it primarily as a basecamp for skiing. We had finally got it dialed in as far winter camping/gear wise and was slowly going to restore it, both the truck and the camper as time permitted. I really like the pass through ability and the openness vs. a slide in and it is the perfect size for the two of us. Chevy has 170K miles, about 30K on new engine/tranny, has the usual rust and now a good dent on drivers door and front quarter panel, but mostly straight. Also has a good old deteriorated bondo patch on passenger side door. Anyone have any good recommendations for a shop in the front range that could do the body work and maybe beef up the suspension to support the camper better. Camper weighs in at about 650# dry. I'll see if I can post up some picts when I figure out how and have the time. Thanks in advance.

I don't have any recommendations for a local shop. But post pics of the K5 when you can.:waytogo::D

I kwould be interested in taking on a small project like that. I'm not Denver, but 1.5 hours south.

Thanks for the offer ktmoutfront, might take you up on that. Will try and post some picts next week. Feel free to shoot me a PM with any recs. Been using searchtempest to search for K5 Blazers and there seem to be alot out there, but not many that are in good shape or lifted to heck. Salvage yards? Keep the recs coming.
