I have just recently sprayed Rhino liner in the cab of my K5 and I have decided not to put carpet in. All of the plastic trim is in good shape, but is faded and my seats are red. I am planning to paint the plastics and recover the seats does anybody have a suggestion on color or better yet a picture of yours? The outside of the truck is going to be painted royal blue.

black, gray and tan are the only colors I'll ever do interiors.. hate white, red or blue...

Is it hot where you live?

If so, avoid anything dark like black or blue. Even dark gray. A light gray or tan will be a lot more comfortable to get in after it's been parked in the direct sunlight on a 100+ degree day.

Black, of course, generates heat when the sun hits it, and can make the interior of your truck stupid hot.

I only buy cars with light gray or tan interiors now. I learned my lesson by getting a very painful burn from sitting on a black seat during a summer day. Once. :doah:

I really like the idea of grey. I guess it would make better sense for it to be a light color for the hot days. Ive tried to find pictures of k5s with an interior similar to this so i could get an idea of how it would look but i havent had any luck.

My thread in the drive way has some pics of a factory gray interior if that's what your looking for. It's not lined though.

I'm on my phone so the search button doesn't work well for me. But search my user name and "budget 87k5 budget build" (something along thoughs lines) and you can see them
