Recommend a real good Snap On impact

The Snap On I would recomend would be the Ingersol Rand 2135Ti. :D

Guess I should add that I had the XT7100 and LOVED it until I tried the IR. I bought an IR and sold the XT7100 the same day. Go with the IR.

3 ir thunder guns in the shop for over 5 years daily use. no problems. no rebuilds yet. just keep them clean and lubed. had snap off and o.k. but kept going to the thunder gun as it just worked better.

not 3 guns over 5 years. 3 guns still . 3 mechanics total with 1 each.

Air - IR Thundergun, buddy of mine is a John Deere tech and thats all he uses, never any issues.

Battery - Snap-On 4850HO 18 Volt, handy as hell.

X10000.... Or the Matco or Mac versions which are the same thing just rebranded.

news to me... hmmm..

anyways... if you want the truth here ya go

if you want a snap-on gun and the mg725 isnt released in your area yet, get an xt7100... if you want a gun with a little more power and faster anvil speed, get a thundergun, if you want a light gun for your weenie arms, get a 2135ti or timax... whichever

sold 2 TI Max guns today. One guy traded in his 6 month old xt7100 on one. Actually his isn't back from being repaired yet, when it gets back, he will trade it in.

< not a huge fan of the xt7100.... powerful, but not nearly powerful enough to make up for the issues they had when first released...

and i try not to sell IR because we've played hell tryin to get warranty or even repair after warranty

Whats news to you? I was agreeing that the IR gun was the way to go. The Matco/Mac sell the same IR gun under their own labels. Same gun different case.
