Hey ya'll. I had a Cobra 29LTD Classic years ago. I'm kinda interested in a new radio, seems the Cobra's are now made in China & the quality has dropped.

I'm looking for a decent, $$ friendly radio that is NOT made in China. (Personal political convictions, nothing racial).

I'd prefer made in USA, if such a thing exists.

I dont think they exist any more. I think they are all made over sea now. I personally have a galaxy 959 peaked and tuned in the rig i drive at work. A cobra 148, cobra 29 sound tracker, cobra 25 for my k5, sandrail, and backup. They are all made by the same company over seas, but still very reliable.

My ex has my old cobra, I'm wondering if it's worth it to even have to talk to her.
