Red Houndstooth Interior

Hi y’all.

Just bought my first Blazer this evening. It’s an 80 K5 with the prettiest original red houndstooth interior.

Does anyone happen to know how many 80s had this interior? I’m having a hard time finding this on my own and was just wondering. We might need to do some interior work so finding out how rare it is will be helpful.

It's very rare these days. Even 10+ years ago, it was rare at that point. I wanted the original plaid '77-'78 type seats for my '77, but came across a very nice set of the houndstooth seats from an '82, so that's what I went with. Iirc, the same fabric was used '80-'82, but there was a difference in construction each year. My '82 seats have buttons on the backrests, where '81 would have a vinyl band. I don't recall the difference for '80.
