ok guys, i left my glovebox open several days ago...sucked my battery dry, i jumped in to start it and nothing, i hooked up the battery charger and nothing, looks like my charger needs a little juice in the battery to get it going, so how can i make the charger think there is a little charge so i can go where i need to?

would a d battery be enough to start it chargeing, i'm going to go try..keep i'll you posted...in mean time post up some other ideas.

Just let the charger do its job. It doesn't need any voltage to work like an alternator does. Patience... Give it an hour or 2 depending on the size of the charger.

If it doesn't get a charge in a couple of hours try cleaning the cables. They may have corroded. You might have completely killed the battery though...

HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA

I thought I was the only one that did that.

Seriously though, if you have a battery that won't take or hold a charge, roll it down a little hill. Or, just flop it over a bunch. Doing that knocks the crud off of the internals and will break apart any carbon trails between cells. I have revived several batteries doing this.

No Just Touch The Charger Leads Toghter Then Put It On The Battery

Can you jump start from another vehicle?

Some chargers are picky like this.

yup try touchin the leads together. If that doesn't work try another battery and then un-hook the donor batt. and let the alternator do it's job. It's probably gonna put a load on the alt. tryin to charge the dead battery but it works.

or as suggested jumping it from another car.

I thought i was gonna die when i read this.
