Ok boys my credit card just got a huge increase in its limit so naturally I want to blow it all on my truck. Due to where I live it wont see any trails other than during hunting so I dont need anything fancy. Is the cheapest route to a 4inch lift just new front springs and blocks in the back? The second cheapest route being new springs up front and an ORD shackle flip in back? I know the flip is a much better choice but this is a $300 truck ( and you can tell by looking at it ) so Im looking to keep expenses to the minimum. A body lift is out of the question because... well.. there isnt much of a floor left. Also, can anyone recommend a good(CHEAP!) website with low prices for this stuff? I used to have hundreds of related bookmarks a couple years ago but sold my old blazer and deleted all the bookmarks... now Im kicking myself in the ass.
Oh yeaah.. some of you will probably think Im an ass for asking this but are there any negative effects related to having more lift in the back than the front? Im a redneck and for some reason having the front end a little lower than the back appeals to me. Haha

Thanks CK5

Simple , 4 inch front , flip rear .

Now as for the floor , at least shore it up with some sheetmetal and a welder . My truggy started out as a rusty truck ( came from Ohio ) , and when we lifted the old body ( I got another tub now ) off the frame without turning a wrench , you start thinking about "what if" you were driving :eek1:

I plan on attempting some type of repair eventually. Ive had the truck a year and have only driven it a few times. I lifted the passenger seat out without undoing the bolts. The seat belts are pulled out of the pillars because there is nothing there. The drivers seat would be through the floor right now if the frame wasnt right under it :-) Good ole Wisconsin. Thanks for the reply. Im still looking for good websites but so far Summit seems to be a good value...

I'd call one of our vendors here , for a couple good reasons .

1. You know where the money goes , to our vendor friends families , and their bills .... before it goes to their pockets and rigs .

2. You are more likely to talk to someone on the phone who would know what you are talking about , and can help accordingly .

Maan I never thought of ebay... thanks alot! Pretty sure Im just gonna do big ugly blocks in back and springs in front. Cant get cheaper than that
