Reference for 1-3/8" fuel filler hose

Found this online in case anyone else needs it when replacing a fuel tank.

1-3/8" ID fuel filler/neck hose. The LMC catalogs lists it as 1-1/2" ID which is too big for my stock filler. This stuff is really hard to find in the right size.

I got lucky and the local parts house had a good selction os sizes so I just matched it up!

Hmm, they haven't called me back yet on shipping so maybe I'll need another reference. Are they in Modesto?

I also had a heck of a time getting that correct size piece. Finally found it at a local rubber hose supply shop.

I've been searching for 1 3/8 too and none of the local parts stores can get it. Was planning on getting 1.5" and putting a few clamps on each end and really suckin it down

Want me to go get you some and mail it to you? Postage wouldn't be too much and the hose itself wasn't very expensive. At least that way you will have the right size hose and less chance of leaks.

I might do that. I need to decide what tank I am going to use first though, I have a scout tank I might try make work also since it won't hang below the frame but if that doesn't work I will end up just using a stock style tank. I also need 14" for the 79 k5 also. I'll get with ya here in a couple weeks for sure.
