Well to be completely realistic I probably wont have 1 tons until next year and right now I have 3.73s in my 10 bolts. Should I regear them now to 4.56 or just wait a year to do the axle swap? My buddy can get me a pretty good deal on the gears and install kit so it should only cost around $300. What do you guys think.

Will be wheelin mostly easy to moderate trails but I think gears would make a huge difference. And it is my DD but I dont drive highway much and dont mind going a little slower down the highway when I do. Thanks!!!

2 sets of gears, and install kits for 300$....sounds good. Do you know how to set them up properly, and have the tools to do so. If not add another 2-300 for that. Personally I'd wait for the 1 tons.

I dont think I can do it all myself but I am more than sure I have my uncles help to do it. I guess that 300 could go towards the 1 tons too. i plan on getting the 1 tons and then setting them up with lockers in each and then doing the swap once I have new wheels and tires and everything i will need.

nice when there are fast answers and now I have a fast decision. Ill wait, thanks guys. bbck5 hows the build going?
