Who here has relocated their batteries, where did you put them, what size cable are you running, and how do you like it? What would you do different?

/forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I am actually writing a review right now on this very subject should have it up tomorrow. Anyway, I moved mine to the back about where the rear seat was with 2/0 pretty beefy cables from custombatterycables.com

Sweet! I would love to see it! Please throw a link in this post to the writeup when you get it up! Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Wouldn't it be a pain having to wire the winch to the back too /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Seems like a lot of work and money for new cables to me...but I am as cheap as they get /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

I'm planning on putting mine under the truck under the passenger side seat. But I'm putting a truck cab on a K5 frame. Current plan is to use 2/0 cable to the winch and 1/0 to the starter.

This set-up is how mine is rigged. Battery isolator, one gauge wire bumper to bumper for receiver mounts front and rear, winch and jumper cables plug-in. Auxiliary battery is in the aluminum battery box from Summit. Works great and is safe.
