aight..... I got 4 switches.. gonna pickup 2 more after work...

seems that radio shacks only carry 2 of them in stock...GRRRRR

so my next question.... should I do black plastic or stainless steel or shiny mirror steel (have some of that already) or regular steel just painted black????

Whatever direction you go, use steel rather than plastic.
On my Step side I removed the A.C. Vent and cut a piece of Plexiglass to the size of the holeand Screwed it to the holes that attached the vents I painted the backside of the Plastic body color and put a light behind it it's pretty cool it glows through the paint and looks wicked eventually I'll mount switches in that panel..... I'll try to get some pics

Just watch with shiny stuff when the sun hits it.

dido on the ac vent. Only I used sheat metal. The only regreat I have is when I take of my dash its kinda a pain, Im sure with a lil better planing it would work great. I like the light and plexiglass idea sounds pretty cool!

I saw where a guy put his switches into the ashtray and could flip it up when not in use. Covered the hole for the can and it looked clean.

I need the little hootus to connect my Computer to my camera so i can post the pics it really looks cool
