remanufactured blazer door caps

i just noticed in the chevy truck catalog from classic industries, they are reproducing the 1st gen blazer door caps. i didn't think they would ever be repopped. i am about to order a set so i can't verify the quality yet. i thought someone around here would find this interesting.

they are $39.95 a pair, and i'll report on how they fit. they look right in the catalog. i was looking into making an injection mold and fabricating a few sets myself. it doesn't look too difficult.
they are on page 251 of the 2006 classic industries catalog

That part has been one of the "Holy Grail" items on a 1st Gen..... Almost impossible to find in good condition. A quality repro would be a Godsend.

Yeah, I bought a pair of used but intact ones a while back for $25. They required plastic repairs to prevent breaking later.

What color are they molding them in? Mine are white.

i'm having trouble finding enough things in their catalog that i need right away. I don't want to order just the caps. I'm sure you are already familiar with classic industries. If not I downloaded the pdf catalog from www.classicindustries.com i normally wouldn't mind being the guinea pig, but I actually have about 6 oem caps with a few in very good condition. Normally I keep my word, but after thinking about it those caps didn't make the top of my priority list.
