I have not seen them, but I was told by a semi reliable source that they exist.

Were they a factory option? If not, who did the conversion?

And finally... and I know this is treading on thin ice... but does anyone have any for sale.

Once I am sure that they exist. I will post this thread in the FOR SALE / WANTED section. But I don't want to try and buy something that does not exist.

Thanks

My 90 Burb has them. They are plastic and of the "break away" style. Thewindow had a film on it so it hides the ugly part of the mirror when the windows are up.

There were two styles. I have power mirrors on my '90 Sub that look like the standard stainless mirrors. I have a set from a '91 K5 that are black plastic and are shaped more like the ones used on the later body style trucks in the 90's.

I've always thought they were a 90 & 91 option. Here is a pic -

That's what my '90 has also. I didn't think that there was a power option on a '90.
The ones on my '90 are power mirrors, they just look like the standard mirror. All the other ones that I've seen are the black, streamlined type as shown in the pic that nvrenuf posted above.

90 and 91 order option only basicly. i just piced up a set with the doors off a 91 burban. with all the stuff and paid 45 a complet door at the yard.

i have only seen the black style never the chromes. and i would like to see up close pics of those you say you have. i couldnt tell in the pics posted on that site.

Harry's are probably some sort of aftermarket mirror, or perhaps a conversion kit. the only ones listed in the GM parts catalog are the 90-91 streamlined mirrors.

I am going to the wrecking yard this weekend to find me some power mirror innards. I am going to try and make some power mirrors for my Sub. If I have any luck at all I will take pics and post them.
