I'm thinking of installing some. Have any of you done this, and if so what would you recommend? Am i going to have any problems. My k5 is still running the 1/2 ton with a 4" lift on 35's. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kenai

I've got a set of the Bilstein 7100s..... not enough miles to really tell you much, but the Bilsteins are re-valveable and have a great reputation for quality.

The main consideration is getting the overall length of the shock you need (total travel) and then setting it up for the proper amount of bump travel (up) and droop (down).

And if you don't want to have to mount the resovoir, get some 5150's. I have a set that I am putting on soon.

I'm planning for a set of 5150's this month for this exact reason.

I have fox resi shocks. 10"s for rear anf 14"ers for front. Haven't getten fronts mounted yet. Search for pics of my rear setup

I'm using the 5125 shocks on mine and they made a world of difference over the others that I had.
