removable top texture

What have you used to create the texture found on the removable top. Has anyone tried SEM texture coating?

I'd like to know this as well. I know of all sorts of textured coatings, but I've not seen one that looks just like how GM did it.

Those rollers work for flat walls in your house but not for curved surfaces in a top. Texture is sprayed with a texture gun, or a spray gun on really low pressure.
