hey guys im looking for advice if it is possible to remove the mounting surface for my dash and bezel i dont know what the tech term is but its between the plastic dash and fire wall made of stamped steel all my controls are bolted to it ie heater functions and bezel i want to fix my vents back there and clean up wires but it looks like the windshield my have to be removed as i cant see any bolts on the top that would keep it secure. any advice would be great.

few bolts and few welds. not realy worth all that work. can be worked around . but if you want it can be done.

Its welded in so removing the windshield will help and a cut off wheel to remove it.If your plan is to register it and the vin in on there don't remove that portion or your SOL when registering it.
