Just wondering if all you k5 gurus would replace the ac condenser on a 91 Jimmy by removing the radiator an d components or removing the grill and components, your knowledge would be appreciated. Also considering a pusher fan for the condenser but it looks like only a 10" fan would be possible because of another small oil cooler would be in the way. Have any of you done this procedure? Thank you.

The condenser has to come out towards the radiator and engine. The upper mounts have a bolt into the engine side of the radiator support.
If you get the plastic 11 blade engine fan from a '97 or so Tahoe, it bolts to the fan clutch that is already on your engine. (If you still have a TBI engine)
But then I don't believe that you will need a pusher fan. I out one on my '90 and it has worked very well.

you'll for sure need to at least remove the upper radiator mounts, the upper fan shroud. possibly the low side manifold line at the accumulator. push the top of the radiator toward engine, you can now remove to upper condenser mounts, tilt condeser toward engine and slide out. If your condenser mounts need to be replace at the bottom then the few screws for grill will make getting to then easy.
