Remove tire

A hydraulic log splitter, not the "maul" type!..

I once used Permatex "High Tack" brush on gasket sealer instead of bead sealer on my '56 Chevy pickup's tire that had a stubborn bead leak--about a year later I had to change the tire ,it was bald down to the cords, and NOTHING would break the beads, even the gas station's tire machine..

I ended up putting it in a sand pile in my back yard, doused it with gas after I let the air out,and tossed a match at it..it burned for almost 2 hours, then the fire department came (a neighbor complained about the odor !),and I had to put it out..the only part left was some charred rubber and the wire hoops that are made into the bead area of the tire, which is hardened and difficult to cut--I ruined a pair of side cutters trying to cut them..finally used my arc welder to melt thru them, so I could get them off!..
