hey everybody I removed the heater and AC from my 73 blazer 350. I now have to figure out what to do with the heater hoses that are no longer connected. One is upper passenger side of radiator and the other comes off the intake manifold. do I just cap these or run the hose direct from manifold to radiator? Any comments and input would be appreciated. Thanks

The threaded stuff I initially used hardware store pipe plugs but over the years I've swapped those out for fancy anodized stuff to make it faster. The cap on the radiator nipple should be available in the "Help!" section at a parts store.

I'd trust a hunk of heater hose with a bolt clamped in the open end more than those cheesy rubber caps--I have seen those things crack in short order and fail,or get soft and turn into a balloon on the end!....they are OK for short term temporary use but I would keep a close eye on them..
