The ‘68 has a sunroof in it plus they put guide marker lights on top and drilled through the outer and inner skin of the roof with sheet rock screws. I hate all of it and want to fix it, but would it be easier to find another cab and graft the other top on or weld in new skins for both?

My 84 diesel suburban has the same problem a leaking aftermarket sun roof and I want to graft a piece of metal probably from another junkyard truck

I think it'd be easiest to graft another roof onto your cab, if the rest of your cab is excellent that is. "A" pillars can be sleeved for strength. Still a hell of a job IMO.

How is the rest of your cab?

The rest of the cab is good rockers already been done at some point and I really don’t want to get into this, but it needs to be done
