Any issues with removing the AC lines on my truck. I am pulling the engine, well right now the front clip. Can I just unscrew the lines?

if the a/c does not have a charge, then yes. If they are charged, then prepare for a face full of nasty ass freon that will pb make you sick as a dog. I would just let a shop discharge the system. They will give you a credit or money for it.

I would let a shop do it, problem is getting the truck to the shop as it does not run.

Since I bought it a few years ago, the ac has never blown cold. Not sure if that means it is not charged or not.

press the schrader valve in on any line high or low and see if anything comes out. then you will no for sure not the enviro friedly way but just bleed it.

yeah I would check out the bleed valve by the condensor. Since it hasnt blown cold, it is most likely an empty system when you bought it.
