removing alarm wiring question?

Iam removing a pursuit alarm system from my '87 truck (didnt know it was there). everything is off except for a relay connected to 3 thick purple wires 2 coming from the fuse box 1 going to ignition, all connected to relay. truck doesnt start when relay disconnected so do i just reconnect all 3 purple wires or what.

any help please.

No one should be from the old alarm. The other two were originally connected to each other (from ignition switch to starter solinoid). You have to figure out which is which.
