Not to be argumentative, but I have done every rivet on my Suburban frame with a grinder..... it works if you just give it a good ole College try....
i got all my rivets off real easy with angle grinder 4" wheel

You must have figured out some technique then
With a 4" grinder it took me about 10 - 45 minutes per rivet
On a couple I ground the rivet flat and still took me another 30 minutes to knock it out with a punch

i always love reading about this topic. lol. torch or plasma...otherwise stop whining and do a couple of rivets at a time, then rest, drink a beer, and then continue...when you feel, you're gonna sell the damn thing, it's time for bed.

REALLY? WOW! I did like 20 rivets off of my front end in like an hour......even without messing up any of the brackets.....
I used a thick grinding wheel and not a cutoff wheel. I would grind them flush with the bracket and then take a 10" pointed punch and a 6lb sledge and then knock the **** out of it to come out.
It was difficult, but no more than a few hits with that sledge and they were out....
I am not a very big bou either!

Ive done it with a high speed cut off wheel and an air chisel.
The air chisel was the fastest followed by the cut-off wheel and absolutly no luck trying to drill them out.

I used an air chisel with a real sharpe chisel and had all of the ones up front for the 52" swap off in a matter of 10 - 15 minutes
