I replaced my glove box door. I would like to transfer the sticker from the old one. Anyone have ideas on how to remove the sticker in tact? Not really wanted to experiment and mess it up. Thanks, Red

No very good ideas. 1 way is to cut the plastic and pop rivet it to new box

There is a guy that makes replacement stickers for these trucks. He can make it however you want, so you can just duplicate your sticker and put it on the new door.

Don't remember the contact info, but can probably google it.

Generally speaking, heat will help release just about any adhesive. The problem would be if the substrate is brittle. The adhesive might release, but it might still tear. At least in the glove box it hasn't been exposed to UV and a lot of heat so it could be in good shape still.

We remove lots of stickers in our sign shop, but we're usually not trying to save what we remove. This is a handy tool that serves the same purpose as the scraper device in the video above. https://www.amazon.com/Lil-Chizler-...ywords=lil+chizler+tool&qid=1630942829&sr=8-1

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into that tool. Thanks, Red

Anyone have more info on the repop stickers? Mine is long gone. Can they find the rpo codes for individual trucks by vin?

I recall seeing a guy that was reproducing SPIDs over on 67-72chevytrucks. But, like Josh said, I don't remember the details. I believe you can look up the trucks options with the VIN. Again, over there.

When I replaced my glove box plastic tray I just kept the old glove box tray that had the RPO code sticker in it.
