Picked up a streetfire ignition for the multispark on the trail to keep the motor happy with my cam, and for the rev limiter in case i break something in the driveline, cheap insurance for an expensive motor.

Question is, When i pull my distributor apart to pull the ignition module out, will i have to reset my timing? Or will it stay in place if im careful? just need to know before i tear it apart.

should stay in place if your just taking the cap off

THANKS!!!! Now im super excited! i want to here what it sounds like on the limiter.
I'll set it at 4k just to mess with it, and 5500 after that.

Yup as long as you don't pull it out it won't change. If you do have to pull it just mark where the rotor is pointing and mark the position of the distributor and line it all back up when you put it in.

Got it all in. Took about an hour. And got rid of that strong gas smell at idle. And the rev limiter is flawless and sounds sweeet
