Hi All,
I'm trying to replace the knock sensor on my '89 350 (Dealing with passing smog test and OBD Codes 42 and 43). After I disconnect the harness and put a socket on it, all it does is spin the sensor within its housing. I've sprayed it with a few rounds of penetrating oil, and put needle nose vice grips on the housing, but no luck. There isn't a whole lot of room to try something like hitting it with a punch.
Anyone run into the same issue and have a clever way of getting it out?
Thanks!
