Removing Knuckles and all as one??

Ok I have my K5 in the garage now, I mounted up my parts dana 44 to move it into the garage. Now I have to pull that and put my D44 I will be using under it. I need to transfer EVERYTHING except the housing, carrier, and gears from the parts axle to the one I'm using. So can I remove the knuckles and hubs and all that stuff as one piece? Just pop out the ball joints and swap everything over? Sure would make the process a hell of a lot easier.

No you can't, the axle needs to be out first and you have to take the hubs and spindles off in order to do that.
