I have a 4" lift on my '78 of unknown make. All I do know is...it's a darn hard ride!
I've driven a truck with Tuff Country Easyride springs and it was so much better.
Is it feasable to just remove a leaf or two from the spring packs to make it smoother. It has blocks at the rear but I think there is an 'add a leaf' in there too. Would putting zero rates in the back instead of the 'add a leaves' make much difference?
I don't need the load bearing capacity of the stock set up as it's only for fun not haulin stuff.
What do ya think? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks, must have missed that one! A lot of speculation tho. Anyone got some more hard facts from experience? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yeah, take out the leaf after the leaf after the main..

so, the 3rd one down from the top

I did this on the front of my blazer. I took out the veary bottom leaf of my front pack. Leving me with 3 leafs. Now it rides better and sets more level. Wich is good becasue that was the reason i did all that in the first place. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
