Now that I picked up a grocery getter (07 VW rabbit :D) this leaves the DD duties to that and leaves me more room to turn the K5 into more of a play truck, So im thinking of tossing the rear seat, BUT, I carry alot of gear. What type of partition should I buy/build to seperate gear from the front and back. Ive got a 4 point roll bar. I was just thinking of getting some Metal and running across and mounting it somehow.

Anyone have ideas or pics of what they have done? I dont have a cage and dont plan to , but I also thought about getting some tubing and making detachable bars running side to side to keep gear.

What say thee?

why not just fold the seat forward as a partition? that's what i do if i use the k5 for hauling (i usually use my pickup for that).

The rear seat folded takes up alot space just behind the drivers seat, etc.
