Removing sm465 with bellhousing attached...?

Why was it SUCH a PITA today. When I had my SBC, I pulled the tranny like 3 times with no problems. when I swapped in my BBC, the tranny stayed in the truck during the swap. Today was the first time I have removed that tranny from behind the BBC and it was a B!TCH. The only thing I can think of is that I have a pretty stout dual exhaut now (Throley Try-Y's, Dual 3", Flowmaster 50's) that seemd to support the weaight of the BBC quite well. My old SBC with the stock manifolds seemed to sag A LOT more when the weight of the tranny was remove... Has anybody else run into this?
