Removing Tie-Rod Question

Just ordered a new tie-rod and TRE's from WFO and I am attempting to remove my old bent tie-rod. I took the cotter pins and nuts off, but the TRE does not want to move. I have a harbor freight tie-rod removal tool, but evidently do not know what I am doing. I have also pounded on the tie-rod with a hammer and no luck.

Any suggestions or tips????

Pickle fork. Or try hitting the knuckle around the hole. Or if you don't plan on using it again, get a bigger hammer and hit on the threads.

Keep that pickle fork. It will come in handy when you have to take your drag link loose from the steering arm on the knuckle or the pitman arm.
