I'm removing the trim off of my Blazer because its really old and nasty. I took the trim off but the glue sticky stuff that held the trim to the body is a real pain to get out without messing up the paint. I was wondering if anybody knew a good way to help me get this crap off? thanks.

*UPDATE*
Well, I tried and I still have a little more to do but...

What I like to use is an eraser wheel. should be able to get one at an automotive paint supply store..they attach to a drill..(air or electric) and take off the stickyness and don't harm the paint...its what we used to take off pinstripes at an autobody shop i used to work at.

I used WD40 on mine - no issues - glue came right off. Very cheap solution.

we used 3m adhesive and glue remover from an autobody supplier, was 7 bucks and worth it, came in a quart can and took half a can to do a longbed truck.

I think I might try and use the WD40, because it seems like the fastest way for me to do it. Thanks guys. :)

Everyone is forgetting the key ingredient:

Elbow grease

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh come on now you crazy Canadian. This is 2008 in America. Elbow grease:haha:. gshhhh.

I want it now, I want it for free, and it can't take too long. If I can't do it myself, the government should supply it. This message brought to you by the Democratic party. :haha::haha:
