What is the procedure for removing the vent window from the door? Can I just roll the window down and undo the 2 vent window frame screws and tilt it back or do I have to remove the entire window and regulator?

Alldata PRO doesn't tell me squat.

Any ideas.

Chris

first roll window all the way down and remove the door panel.
there are 3 screws and 1 bolt holding it to the door, the two on the front of the door and one at the very top of the door and 1 bolt around the front middle of the door.
once all screws and bolt are removed grab the top of the vent and pull towards the rear of the door (be careful of the gasket in the top of the door mine was brittle and broke) while pulling lift up and rotate it 90 degrees to get the lower bracket past the glass. if you can remove the outer felt trim next to the glass without destoying it it gives a bit more clearance. good luck and hope this helped.
