Repairing body mounts on frame

Anyone here ever had to repair the body mount brackets on the frame? The holes where the bushings go through are rusted bigger than the original hole size? How have you repaired it, im planning on welding on 1/8" steel plates with the right size hole, but im unsure of how to locate where the original hole is so it lines up with the body holes?

yep done that on 88-up trucks rear cab mount position .

i just got it close and called it good.

could measure off frame and go to rocker . make distance same on both sides.
