Looking for parts, ideas on how to rebuild the mechanical parts of my front bucket seats I can’t adjust them I can move them forward but the back I can not thanks for the suggestions.

I’m not aware of anywhere you can buy replacement parts. I’d say buy other seats to swap some parts around.

Are you wanting to mess with the bottom of the seat getting closer or further from the pedals? Or are you asking about how to make the seat back be at a different angle?

The seat bottom adjustment parts are pretty much the same as any other GM bucket seat from that time period so lots of junk yard options.

The seat back was never adjustable as far as I am aware on the Blazer. However, the handle that allows such adjustment from the Camero/Firebird back then will bolt right on and give you small upright angle adjustments.

The later K5 seats do have adjustment for the back angle and the backs also flip forward to aid in access to the back seat. The PS position adjustment track is actually 2 of them stacked. 1 sets the riding position of the seat and the other facilitates the slide forward function - basically latched all the way back or slid all the way forward.

I don't see any way to proceed other than to remove the plastic covers and inspect the mechanism. It could be rusted, a piece broken/missing or the victim of some previous repair attempt. Does the seat back move at all? It's possible somebody didn't like how they can flop forward and did something to lock them in place.
