I want to replace the back seat in my 88 k5 with the yukon/tahoe third row seat with integrated shoulder strap. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

A friend of mine has a 91' K5 with stock shoulder belts for the rear seat. If all you want is shoulder belts, maybe you should try to find these from a 91' model. These are bolted to his hard top/floor. They are not "integrated" in the seat like the yukon/tahoe so this ads a couple more bolts to deal with when removing your top. I'm not sure if that was an option on other years like 89' 90'??? Good luck...

Thanks for the idea but I'm kind hopeing to see or explain a good way to install the integrated ones so maybe I can go full convertible someday. Do you know what years they started with the third row integrated should belt?

There have been a few guys to do this. I think one of them was a full 'vert so you might try a search with those options.

I tried a search and I didn't come up with much for back seats other than colbtsteele build thread in suggestions on search maybe I'm not doing it right.

thanks,

TONY
