replaced axle stuff and now it\'s pulling

I replaced the inner axle bearings in each spindle and the seals, repacked other bearings too on my D44. Put it all back together and now it's pulling to the right. The only thing I can think of is at one point the drivers side caliper slid off the axle and hit the ground (I've got 12" ss lines). Maybe that jarred the piston in the caliper and it's jammed??? It tends to pull to the right going down the road but is very apparent when the brakes are applied. I was careful not to mismatch the tires so I don't think they come into play and I have checked air pressure, they're the same. Anybody have ideas on what could be causing this? Does this sound like a caliper problem?

I'm not familar with D44s, only 10s, but could you have over-tightened the spindle nuts on the wheel bearings? Could you have one bearing tighter than the other?

The tires spun pretty easily after it was all back together. I've done this job several times in the past (minus replacing the bearings) without any problems. Oh, and do they make a tool to beat the axle bearings (inner spindle) out? I had to get creative cuz a punch was just glancing off the edge of the bearing.

During luinch i took a drive and then felt the rotors. The right one was very hot but the left one was barely warm. I'm thinking it's gotta be a jammed caliper.

Still need help guys. Any ideas? I've got this stuff apart right now and it all 'looks' good.

you might need new caliper bolts. or the bushings that the bolt go through. or your pads are uneven, bolts and bushings can cause this. also you might have a sticky caliper, bolts and bushings can also cause this.
i guess what i am saying is check your bolts and bushings on your calipers.

Apparently, what you suggested was it, at least in part. After trying a few things including spinning the wheels without the brakes on it. After expanding the drivers side piston a bunch I reluctantly backed off the bearing just a tad on the passanger side and gave it a test drive and it braked fine. I'm happy, thanks for the assistance.
