I need to replace the radiator in the Five. I thought I could have the old one repaired, but the Shop said it was not worth repairing. I started looking around for a replacement and all I found were the alum or alum with plastic tanks. I did find a 3 core brass/copper at The Truck Shop catalog for under $400. I don't mind spending $$ on a decent one. Can anyone speak on what they have done in the radiator department?

Just got an aluminum/plastic one from NAPA. Installing it this week. They said they've never seen one come back. Figure if I trust a plastic gun with my life, I can trust a plastic radiator with my truck's.

I get what you're saying, but it just doesn't sound right...

I found a replacement alum/plastic one from PepBoys. It fit fine and works, was under $150.00. Bad news is it overheated last fall and I think I popped a head gasket. It has a 400small block
in it. Once it is warmed up it gushes anti freeze out of the radiator. I thought it might be an air pocket, but it has done it twice. No water in the oil or radiator. I hope it didn't crack a head.

Entropy radiator. Spendy, but, really well made. Keeps my BBC cool and fits well. Ask @bp71k5 about his radiator woes

No don't ask me! I can't think about it anymore.

Just a warning, anything that's a "generic" fit for many different vehicles, may require some fabrication to mount without damaging it. The previous aluminum one I got was one of those and my stock radiator mounts damaged it and wasn't covered under warranty.
