I want to replace my chrome side mirrors that fold in as you drive with some newer black plastic ones. I'd like to get a pair where the glass adjusts inside of the housing and the housing folds in all the way.

I guess the only issue really is finding something that will mount flush to my door vs up in the corner of the door where newer cars mount.

Anyone replaced up to newer design?

What about trying to find a set of the factory power mirrors that came on the 91 K5's and Burbs?

Why would you need power windows? If you found the mirrors alone, they should bolt to your non power door. You would then have to obviously get power the the mirrors, but it shouldn't matter as far as the windows.

What do you mean it shouldnt matter?

Ok, lets try this. Why do you think you need power windows in order to have the power mirrors?

and there 90-91 only option ordered mirrors.

thay are not a direct bolt on swap.

and the door glass is diffrent for them. has a black out section on them.

and chevy/gmc vans had a mirror that looked almost like the chromes. but was power inside glass. no need to fold the mirror.

power mirror search here will bring up pics ofthe 2 sets .

andthose 90-91 units are rare these days.

Cause I'm a retard and overlooked the fact that I put windows instead of mirrors :doah:

I meant that I dont want power mirrors.

k30 I saw your pictures of the comparison of the van and blazer mirrors but I really dont want typical push out style mirrors.

Something like this: But I was curious if anyones done it due to where the newer style mirrors mount where the butterfly is on our truck vs mounting them on the door.

What's the point of that style mirror without power?

When you keep the stock style tight, the wind doesn't push them in. I will admit that getting the passenger side lined up right again is kind of a pain. Good luck finding anything as durable.

I want the newer towing mirrors with heat. I could care less about power adjustment but man I hate having frozen mirrors.
