I have a chance to buy a 1972 K5 from a friend. It needs the usual rockers and upper rear fender on one side. Most troublesome is the fact that the windshield frame has rusted away on the drivers side. I have been unable to locate a new replacement windshield frame. Does anyone have any sources?

There's no such thing as a "replacement" windshield frame... your only source will be to find a donor vehicle to cut one from.

I've seen windshield frames go for between $100 - $200 in the past. It's a lot of work to replace one correctly, and honestly since you're in So Cal you shouldn't have to accept a 1st Gen Blazer with rust THAT severe in the first place. There should be plenty of clean trucks to choose from.

I have the same problem. except mine probably isn't as severe. Still, it makes it so I can't mount snaps for my soft top across the front.
