Replacement Wiring Harness

I need a replacement harness for my 1978 K5. The one that is in there is too hacked for me to be comfortable with, and I want this truck to be a driver and have all the functionality that it should have. I am looking for the under dash harness and the engine harness, so basically the complete thing. Who has had good luck with what? I would prefer something with the factory connections.

I’m doing mine a couple months. Probably go with Painless but haven’t decided yet between that an EZwire.

Talk to these guys. They did the harness for my diesel. Wasn't cheap, about $1500 and that was 15 years ago. But it's a true brand new harness to factory.

Keep in mind, if this is an always revolving truck a factory type harness might be a waste of time.
I did the EZwiring, not as cut and dry as painless, but it was cheaper and that was fine. Glad I went the cheaper route as I’ve almost cut everything factory out of the truck. Damn near everything is on 1 of 2 fuse blocks, with its own switch or relay. I’m literally using the EZ kit for only blinkers and ignition now and couldn’t be happier.
