Replacing cab and topper weatherstripping? How To?

I plan to ordre some new weatherstripping and curious how they get installed on the topper and body of the truck. I know there are the left and right on top of the rail ones and then one on the cab and then one on the topper itself. Do they press into a channel or just glued on??
