OK i no longer have carpet in the front... It's all chewed up and rotten... the floor boards are ok... I just need new carpet and the matt to put under the carpet. I have a 78 Jimmy... It has blue carpet but I think I'll go black... I only need the front piece... I already did the rear with custom carpet... Where can i get a good price an dwhat should I pay for it??? JCWhitney? Somewhere online? LMC? where??? What have other people done??? Is there a way to mold my own carpet???

Um... yes officer I know it's too big...

LMC has it. In a variety of colors and the also sell it in different sections (i.e. front, middle, or back).

if you do a search, you will find many opinions. mine was bought from AutoCustomCarpets and i am happy with the look, quality and fit. expect to pay $100-$130 for the front part only.

I dunno about you man, but I would durabak the thing. When I pulled my carpet in my 87, it was the best thing I coulda done. Apparently my seal for my topper was toast.. and no one before me decided to fix it. So, it would leak onto the floor and get soaked up by the carpet. Apparently that happened for quite some time, since everything in the cab after the front seats was either rusted or gone. So, when I get my floors fixed, I'm putting in some kinda roll on bed liner. But, if you really wanna go with carpet, I'd say LMC. They have some nice sets which look like stock stuff from a K5.
