Where is the best place to get a replacement dash pad for a 1986 K5?

How much?

How hard is it to replace the dash pad?

I believe they are around $120 from LMC. Go to the website and get their free catalog. I just got mine in the mail yesterday. I've never replaced on a Blazer but I can't see it being harder than turning some screws and using some arm strength to shimmy it into place.

Also, the ones in the catalog only came in black.

You can try www.car-part.com and find many of them across the US. Condition will vary however you should be able to find a decent choice of colors.

I just made an order through LMC, but not sure of the quality of their dash pads. When I get other body parts, they have not fit as well as they should.
Anyone have any good dash pad experiences from LMC?

I haven't bought parts from LMC yet. But if that's the case, then I think car-part.com is your best bet. It is factory fit and you can choose the color. Ty

your local chevy dealer sould carry it. you'll have to paint to match. replaced mine in '85 blazer not hard. be sure to keep old clips out of old dash, they just twist out.

unless you are getting a genuine gm replacement pad... and they are 275 up all the rest are reproductions...lmc..chvey only.. everyone else.. they are reproduction
I got mine off ebay... it fit but needed some trimming.. reused the factory clips...

you can also get an overlay that ends up looking just like the dash or have your upholstery shop sew a cover for the dash out of some nice vinyl
