I got a half ton ford that has a bad spring pack ( only 2 leafs left in it ). I got another good pack from the boneyard. I dont want to go through the hassle of changing packs so I was thinking about just taking leafs from the good one and adding them to the bad one. I see a potential problem area: The little metal brackets on each end that seem to keep the leaves from twisting to the side.. How do I get these snapped back into place? Do I just slide them on and off?
